The Rising Star – $950
A complete publicity tool box that will help you take your author career to the next level. Our Rising Star package includes the Debut and Influencer offerings, plus our:
- Professional edit of your drafted press kit and pitch template to ensure they are as strong as they can be and showcases you and your work in the best possible way!
- Customized DIY Media and Online Influencer List with 15:
- targeted industry, mainstream and genre media outlets we recommend specifically for your book and author brand – we will direct you to the outlet’s masthead with guidance on how to approach.
- social media influencers who love to promote books like yours! (Influencers are contactable via Instagram/TikTok Direct Message, or some will accept email pitches.)
The Career Author – $1,500
A no-holds-barred promotional package featuring every tool in our arsenal. Our Career Author package includes our Debut, Influencer and Rising Star offerings, plus:
- Content Optimization for Amazon, Goodreads and BookBub: A detailed written report with specific recommendations for ensuring your profile, copy and keywords are as strong as possible to increase your visibility on the following platforms:

- Comparable Title Sheet, in which we identify 5 of your closest and best comparable titles. Comp titles are great publicity tools, because if you know which (recent) books are performing well in your genre, you can identify how to reach the same audience, discover new networking opportunities and elevate your own book promotion.
- Award Recommendations: A custom list of 5 literary award competitions we feel would be the best fit for your book and where other Books Forward authors have found success. We’ll provide info on the application process, costs and mailings. Awards wins are a great way to improve author branding and credibility of the book, and should be highlighted on your website and Amazon page. These accolades can also be used in any future pitching (for example, “award-winning author”) and to strengthen advertising.
- Trade Review Guideline: A personalized list of paid review opportunities we feel would be the best fit for your genre. We’ll include instructions on the application process, costs and mailings. Industry reviews are fantastic promotional tools because good blurbs can be used to strengthen sales pages, book covers, pitches, press materials and advertising.
